This course arms you with everything you need to know about SEO and how it can help your website. Once you have completed the modules over the five-day period, you will receive official certification that confirms that you have completed the program in full.
Day 1 – Search Engine Basics: Getting Results
Day 1 is all about the basics of SEO and on site optimisation. We will start with one of the most fundamental principles, keyword research, and will share our unique system for using SEO to get results.
Our experts will show you how to ensure that the content on your website gets the visibility and exposure it needs and we will show you, step-by-step, the process you need to follow in order to produce effectively optimised copy.

Your own web pages are at the heart of every lesson we conduct and, with the instructor’s guidance, you will be provided with plenty of opportunity to evaluate and benchmark your own site.
Day 2 – Search Engine Processes
Once again, our unique 6-step process is a heavy focus of the training on Day 2 and today we will extensively address how you can apply the system to optimise your own sites.
We will share insights into which search engines and directories are the most effective and will give you insider tips on how to ensure that your web pages are indexed in a timely and efficient manner.
In addition to this, we will also teach you about the importance of link building and conducting effective off-site optimisation and will provide guidance on how to avoid inadvertently being penalized by the search engines.

During Day 2 each attendee will be provided with our unique SEO tool, the Prioritised SEO Action Plan, which is designed to help you approach your optimisation activities in a constructive and measured manner, and will act as a valuable guide once you have completed the course and are conducting SEO for yourself.
Once again, Day 2 provides you with an opportunity to practically apply what you have learned to your own web pages and, through group exercises and peer evaluation, you will be able to benefit from the feedback and insights of the other course attendees.
Day 3 – The Future of Search Engine Marketing
Now we have covered the basics, it is time to look at some of the advanced principles of SEO and how these can be used to produce sales copy that attracts the search engines while getting the results you need.
Day Three will focus on advanced keyword research and forensics and we will share insider tips on how you can produce optimised copy that taps into current trends and user behaviour. You will learn about some of the common pitfalls that many website owners fall into and we will teach you techniques that can assist you to stand apart from the rest in highly competitive markets.

- Introduction to Social Media: The differences between Social Media Strategies and Search Engine Optimisation
- An analysis of the search behavioral trends of your buying audience, gaining insight into the research of keywords
- Lateral Thinking Skills-using alternative techniques to build traffic on your site
- Working with high-performance “windows of opportunity” and “root words” to improve visibility
- A study of Keyword Forensics, to discover hidden evidence behind search behaviors
- How to create captivating sales copy for your website, making you stand out from others and compelling consumers to respond
- How to prepare for the effects brought on by Personalisation of Search
During the day you will be provided with plenty of opportunity to evaluate and assess your own site and, together with guidance from our experts, will develop an SEO Priority Action Plan that identifies some of your areas for improvement and how you will address them.
Day 4 – Advanced SEO Strategies
Today we continue to look at advanced SEO concepts and will start to focus on how you can assess and understand the performance of your website on an ongoing basis. We will look at Google Analytics and decipher some of the complex information it reveals about your site and the people that visit it. We will also arm you with the skills you need to deal with technical issues and perform complex multivariate reporting.

- Discussion on submission procedures, including XML feeds
- Understanding influences such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)
- Building relevancy and exposure on Yahoo!, Google, etc. in just 48 hours
- Google and the Importance of Page Rank
- Link Reputation: What it is and How to build it
- New mechanics of Writing Creatively
- Content Development: How to utilise user-generated content for attracting new traffic
- How to increase your Visitor Response Ratio-turning web page visitors into customers
In addition to benefiting from the expert guidance of our team of experts, you will be provided with an opportunity to discuss your web pages with the rest of the group and will be offered a chance to share your own challenges during a brainstorming session in which the other participants can help you to develop new ideas.
Day 5 – Strategies “Beyond SEO”
The focus of our activities on the final day of this course will be on how you can progress beyond the search engines and the importance of other elements of web design and content.
We will review both the practical and theoretical elements of effective web pages and will show you how to get your site to where it should be with the least amount of effort.
We will share some insider tips into perfecting the art of optimisation and will debunk some of the common myths about what search engines do, and do not, like. By the end of the day you will know everything you need to know to compete effectively in a highly competitive market.

- Monitoring the Spider activity
- Log Analysis: What’s most important? What should be focused on?
